SMC sheet material is a thermosetting glass fiber reinforced composite material. Its core components include glass fibers, unsaturated resins, fillers and various additives. The finished product is a sheet-like material with a protective covering. It can be customized in terms of specifications and colors as per requirements. It is usually packaged in rolls or boxes and is suitable for processing by compression molding to be used as structural components / enclosures in fields such as automobiles, electrical appliances, and construction.

The density is only 1/4 - 1/6 of that of steel, and its mechanical properties can rival those of some metals, achieving both lightweight and structural strength.
